The Plugin detects a visitor's country through a 4-stage cascade (Cloudflare headers, Bunny.net CDN headers, WooCommerce MaxMind geolocation, and a persistent cookie). Once a country code is successfully determined, it is stored in wpsc_geo so that subsequent page loads — including cached pages served by a CDN — can skip the detection logic and use the stored value.

The cookie is set on your domain (the site running the Plugin), not on wpsmartconsent.com. We do not have access to this cookie.

A short country code (for example, US, GB, DE) and a timestamp. No personally identifiable information.

30 days, renewed on each successful detection.
